All participants competing must ensure they have the appropriate insurance with their relevant governing body. (Canoe Wales etc.) 

All spectators and participants are to follow British Canoeing code of conduct while at the competition. These can be found here T2 & T3 
 

By participating at the Canoe Polo Competition at Barry (hereafter referred to as "the Event"), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Assumption of Risk: Water sports involve inherent risks, including but not limited to, drowning, injury from equipment, and adverse weather conditions. By participating in the Event, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with these activities.

  2. Medical Fitness: You confirm that you are physically fit and capable of participating in the Event. If you have any medical conditions that may affect your ability to safely participate, you agree to consult with a medical professional prior to the Event.

  3. Compliance with Rules: You agree to adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the Event organisers. This includes wearing appropriate safety gear and following instructions from Event officials.

  4. Liability Waiver: You release the Event organisers, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur as a result of your participation in the Event, including but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death.

  5. Emergency Medical Treatment: In the event of an emergency, you authorize Event officials to seek medical treatment on your behalf. You agree to be responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

  6. Image and Likeness Release: You grant the Event organisers permission to use your image, likeness, and voice in any photographs, videos, or other media captured during the Event for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation.

  7. Personal Property: You are responsible for the security of your personal property. The Event organisers are not liable for any loss or damage to your personal belongings.

  8. Age Requirement: If you are under 18 years of age, you must have a parent or guardian's consent to participate in the Event. The parent or guardian must also agree to these terms on your behalf.

By participating in the Event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this disclaimer. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not participate in the Event.
